Adventures in NYC

This past week my family and I went and visited some relatives who live in Sparta, New Jersey. Sparta is this great, little town, and lucky for me is only an hour away from New York City! 

While we were in Sparta we were able to go to my cousins college graduation party which was tons of fun.. And the presence of tons of attractive college guys wasn't so bad either. 

We also got to go out on Lake Mohawk which is the lake which is centered around Sparta! The view is gorgeous!

My mom and I went took the train into New York City one of the days we were there. The initial reason for going was to visit some colleges for me, but of course we could not resist doing some shopping too! 

We had lunch at an outdoor cafe in Bryant Park which was so good! I got a Caesar chicken salad! 

After lunch we went to my NYU tour which was an amazing school, in a great location! Following the tour we went into SoHo which was a really cool area, I really enjoyed all the shops there!

Strolls in Birkdale

The other day me and my friend Walker had lunch and did some shopping, at a local outdoor mall called Birkdale. We had a yummy lunch at Brixx, I got a caesar salad and shrimp carbonara. After lunch we looked in one of my favorite shops Banana Republic, followed by another favorite store of mine, lulu lemon.  I ended up purchasing one of their new sports bras featured below:

I love this bra it's super supportive and also really cute becuase of the bright color and cool braided razor back. 

After my trip to Lulu, I finished up the day with my top drink picks from Starbucks: passion tea lemonade. This a defiantly worth a try, if you have not tried it already!

Brunch in Davidson

Today, my friend Gabrielle and I, had brunch at this great little cafe in Davidson called Toast. It's located right on the main street in Davidson and is surrounded by a ton of other great restaurants, cafes, local shops, and Davidson College! The area is gorgeous! So along with the great scenic view our food, like always, was delicious! Toast has a great menu; it includes a full breakfast menu with pancakes, omelettes, french toast, and much more. It also has a full lunch menu filled with sandwiches, pastas, salads, and other sides. A perfect place for brunch! But I personally like the breakfast menu the best! I ended up getting pancakes with bacon and a side of fruit, so good!

After brunch, Gabrielle snapped a few pictures of me, on my phone, sitting on a bench in front of this gorgeous Charleston style home, now being used for a business.

Love My Jacks

I finally got to wear my Jack Rodger platinum Waverley flats! The weather has been so nice! Dress and skirt season is coming up, yay! 

In the picture I'm wearing my favorite pair of jeans right now from Gap! Love the poca dots on them. Usually don't wear light wash and distressed jeans, but I'm in love with these.
